All classes conclude with a presentation by the dancers for family members on the last day of the session.
Tuition
$15 per lesson.
Payment in cash or check form is due in full on/by the first day of classes. Students may bring payment to class on the first day, or mail ahead of time to Autumn Cook, 72 Old US Route 1, Jonesboro ME 04648. Checks should be made out to Autumn Cook. A 20% discount is offered for each additional student from the same household.
In the event of classes being canceled by the instructor, a refund will be given per canceled class. Classes missed by the student will not be refunded.
Dress Code
A dress code is important for the safety of the dancer in class, and to allow the teacher to correct the alignment of the dancer during their lesson.
Girls should wear a leotard and tights.
Boys should wear a t-shirt or tanktop and exercise shorts, sweatpants, or leggings/tights.
Hair should be worn in a bun; if it's too short for a bun, it should be held securely off the face.
Ballet slippers are required for everyone.

Classroom
Etiquette
Please bring your own water bottle. No other food or drink is allowed during class time.
Parents are asked to leave the classroom during class time. If there are concerns, please discuss them with Miss Autumn before the first day of class.
There is a portopotty outside the Grange. This is the only bathroom on premises. Bathroom breaks are not encouraged during class time. Please plan accordingly.
Location
Classes are held at Jonesboro Grange Hall #357, which is at the bottom of the hill, by the Chandler river, on Route 1 in Jonesboro.

About the Instructor
Autumn Cook
Autumn Cook grew up studying ballet at the Grange building in Lubec with Denise Plouffe, in Machias with Karen Varian, and in Bangor with Ivy Clear-Forrest. She has performed locally with Downriver Theatre in Machias and the Bangor Youth Ballet. She attended summer intensive programs at the Bossov Ballet Theatre in Pittsfield, Maine, the Eastern Connecticut Ballet in Lyme, Connecticut, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in NYC. After earning her B.A. in Dance from Dean College School of Dance in Franklin, MA, she danced professionally with Walt Disney World, and has since occasionally taught dance in the Down East area. She began teaching at the Jonesboro Grange in April, 2022.
